Salonculinaire.com is an initiative of George Hill. The site first appeared on
the internet in 2005. Since, Salonculinaire.com had entertained over
one hundred thousand actual visitors and recorded over 1 million hits. Joining the "Virtual salonculinaire" in 2006
the "Chefs Forum" has attracted over three hundred
registered members and 40 thousand visitors reading
debates and other articles in the
community of chefs - forum.
The primary mission of the site is to:

To acknowledge chefs worldwide, who have taken food presentation
into the realm of food art and encourage others to seek excellence
in all forms of food presentation, from the plate to the buffet from
a simple garnish to Pièces Montèes.

Provide a platform on which Australian chefs may debate
conventional issues facing the industry.

- Provide the means that may be used to
communicate to chefs programs that protect, benefit and aim to
raise industry standards such as the proposed introduction of
a Mentor Program and a
Code of Principles.
