ACF Victoria evolved from
the Australasian Guild of Professional Cooks (A.G.P.C) that had
evolved originally from the Catering Institute of Australia. |

In 1974 a new breakaway
organisation from the Catering Institute of Australia was formed called
the Australasian Guild of Professional Cooks (A.G.P.C). As the
commercial cookery industry grew and matured across Australia, the need
arose for a national organisation to coordinate national objectives for
Australian culinary professionals |

|
In 1986 Australian Cooks
Societies commenced amalgamating into a national umbrella organisation
called "ASCCA" Australian Society of Cooks and Chefs Associations.
"ASCCA " which in turn then transformed in 1992 into the "ACF" the
"Australian Culinary Federation". |
|
|
|
1991 a decision was made
in Victoria by the the A.G.P.C to join
other state run chefs organisations, under under one umbrella to become
the Australian Culinary Federation Victoria. |

Victorian Chapter is now
the Australian Culinary Federation Victoria (A.C.F.V - A.G.P.C) |
