    Salonculinaire.com community of chefs, is the largest online network of professional chefs in Australia. This informal association, and "philosophical network" of professional chefs also has and welcomes many international chef members. This community of chefs are dedicated to preserving commercial cookery professional standards and the branding / image of the professional cook/chef.


    It is a network for chefs of all ages who are aware of the changing nature of the modern kitchen, but also acknowledging the necessity to retain some of the great conventions that distinguish a genuine chef from a pretenda chef.
    Registered member chefs have passed 500 registrations as at July 2010 and steadily growing.

    Membership is free, however requires a commitment to pursue practices and opinions that inhibit the corruption of the trade of cookery

    For Australian chefs this is a commitment to follow the “Australian Culinary Codes of Practices” and International chefs make an ethical commitment to follow the basic intent of these principles. As seen on the registration page.

    Note. You name, city, and country will appear on the “International chef’s directory database” at Certified chef.com - all other details will remain confidential.

    Registrations are individually assessed to ensure suitability to join this group.

    - Hospitality industry profile, either as a cook/chef or directly associated with the commercial kitchen will be accepted.

    The rarely used "brigade communicator is sent to all registered members (Usually pertaining to Australia only) in the community only when an urgent industry communiqu should be directly forwarded by email to community members. If you know of a critical and momentous industry news item, email George to broadcast a Brigade Communiqu to all the community.
