This is an informal association, network and "movement" of professional chefs predominantly Australian, who are dedicated to preserving commercial cookery professional standards and the branding / image of the professional cook/chef.
It is a network for chefs of all ages who are aware of the changing nature of the modern kitchen, but also acknowledging the necessity to retain some of the great conventions that distinguish a genuine chef from a pretenda chef.
Registered member chefs have passed 350 registrations as at May 2008 and steadily growing.
Membership is free, however requires a commitment to pursue practices and opinions that inhibit the corruption of the trade of cookery
You may apply for membership through the registration button (Top right)
Registrations are individually assessed to ensure suitability to join this group.
Only applications with a
- Hospitality industry profile, either as a cook/chef or directly associated with the commercial kitchen will be accepted.
- Association entitles you acquire a membership diploma and a code of conduct certificate accessible only to registered members.

Final Australian Culinary Codes of Practices Released 21/2/08 - Industry survey results released 9 / 3 / 08
Committee members from the ACF and Les Toques Blanches have closed the survey of executive chefs and chefs opinions of the draft codes of practice and recorded the results of the "industry ".
